Terms of service
Last updated: 5 October 2026
The short version
- DeepCrew Cloud is in a private beta. It's free, it may change or stop, and things can break. Keep your own copies of anything important.
- You get your own computer in the EU, running DeepCrew. You bring your own AI (Claude or ChatGPT), and your provider bills you for it under its own terms.
- Your bots act for you, with your accounts. You're responsible for what they do and for the approvals you give.
- Don't use DeepCrew for anything illegal or abusive. If you do, we may stop your computer.
- You can delete your account whenever you like.
This summary helps you read the terms. The full terms below are what count.
1. Who we are
DeepCrew Cloud (“DeepCrew”, “we”, “us”) is run by Tawhid Joarder. These terms are an agreement between you and us about using deepcrew.so and the DeepCrew computer we run for you.
By creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you use DeepCrew for a company or other organisation, you confirm you're allowed to agree for it, and “you” includes it.
Our privacy policy explains what we do with personal data. Questions about these terms: support@deepcrew.so.
2. The beta
- Invite only. DeepCrew Cloud is in a private beta. You need an invite code to sign up. Without one, you can join the waitlist, and we'll email you if a place opens up.
- Free. The beta costs nothing and we don't ask for payment details. We haven't set prices for after the beta. Before it ends, we'll email you the plans and prices, and nothing is charged unless you choose a paid plan.
- Things change. Features may change, arrive or go away during the beta, and the beta itself may end.
- Things break. Your computer may be unavailable, and data can be lost. Keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose.
- No service level. There's no guaranteed uptime, response time or support hours.
- Limits. To keep the beta running for everyone, we may limit the number of accounts, or how much a computer can do.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18.
- Sign up with an email address that's yours, and verify it. We use it to reach you about your account and these terms.
- Keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else got in, tell us at support@deepcrew.so.
- One account per person, and one DeepCrew computer per account. Don't share, sell or hand over your account.
4. Your DeepCrew computer
- Once your account is ready, we set up a cloud computer that runs DeepCrew for you. No other customer uses it.
- It runs in data centres in the EU (Germany, Finland or France), provided by Boat (boat.dev). You reach it at deepcrew.so/app.
- We keep it running, and we update your DeepCrew when a new version ships. Updates, repairs and maintenance can restart it, and work in progress may need to start again.
- What's on it belongs to you (see section 8).
5. Your AI provider
- DeepCrew doesn't come with AI. You connect your own Claude account or API key (from Anthropic), or your own ChatGPT account or API key (from OpenAI). DeepCrew then runs Claude Code or Codex on your computer with that sign-in.
- Your provider bills you for that use, under its own terms and usage policies, which you must follow. We don't sell, meter or mark up AI usage.
- DeepCrew isn't made, endorsed or sponsored by Anthropic or OpenAI. Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT and Codex are their trademarks.
- AI can be wrong. Check what your bots produce before you rely on it.
6. Apps and websites you connect
- Your bots can use the services you connect, such as Notion or Linear, tools that need no sign-in, the web browser on your computer, your own MCP servers and, if you add one, your own Composio key.
- These are your accounts. Each service's own terms apply between you and that service, and you're responsible for staying within them. We don't control those services, and what they offer can change.
- In the beta, some services, such as Gmail, Google Calendar and Outlook, can't be connected with one tap yet.
7. Your bots act for you
- Bots work on what you ask, and on the instructions and routines you set up, using your AI and your accounts.
- You're responsible for what your bots do on your behalf: the messages they send, the changes they make in your accounts, and anything they buy or book.
- Risky actions wait for your OK. When you approve one, or set a rule such as “Always allow this”, you're responsible for what it lets a bot do.
- Bots read web pages, emails and other content that may try to steer them. DeepCrew treats that content as information, not as instructions, but no protection is perfect. Connect only what a bot needs, and review what it asks to do.
8. Your content
- What you put into DeepCrew, and what your bots make for you, stays yours: chats, files, bots' instructions and memory, and their results.
- You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your content on your computer, keep backups of it, and move it when we update or repair your computer.
- We don't look at what's on your computer. Our support team can open your DeepCrew only while you let them in from your account page, for an hour or a day at a time, and every visit is logged and shown to you. The only other exception is when the law requires it.
- Make sure you have the right to what you upload or ask your bots to handle, including other people's personal data.
9. Acceptable use
Don't use DeepCrew, or let your bots use it, to:
- break the law, or store or share illegal content;
- send spam or other unsolicited bulk messages;
- mine cryptocurrency;
- attack, probe or scan other systems or networks;
- break the terms of other services, including your AI provider's usage policies;
- get around other services' limits, such as rate limits, paywalls, sign-up rules or bans;
- try to reach other customers' computers or data, or any part of our systems other than your own account and computer.
If your computer does any of this, we may stop or suspend it. We'll tell you why, unless the law or a security risk prevents us. Serious or repeated misuse can end your account.
10. The software
The DeepCrew software on your computer is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3 (AGPL-3.0). Its source code goes public when DeepCrew launches. That licence covers the software; these terms cover the service we run for you.
11. Leaving, and when we can stop your account
- You can leave at any time. Delete your account on your account page; we'll ask for your password. That deletes your computer, everything on it, and your account. It can't be undone, so download what you want to keep first. The privacy policy says what we keep afterwards and for how long.
- We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we end the beta or the service. Unless it's about misuse, a security risk or a legal reason, we'll email you first and give you time to download your files.
12. No promises about the beta
As far as the law allows, DeepCrew is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We don't promise that it will be available without interruption, free of errors or fit for a particular purpose, or that what your bots or your AI produce will be accurate.
13. Liability
- To the maximum extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or for what your bots, your AI provider or the services you connect do.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing in them takes away rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived.
14. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, for example as the beta grows or before paid plans start. We'll email you before changes take effect, and update the date at the top of this page. If you keep using DeepCrew after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree with them, you can delete your account.
15. Law and disputes
If something goes wrong, please write to support@deepcrew.so first: most problems can be solved that way. Wherever you live, you keep any protection your local consumer law gives you that can't be waived by agreement.
16. The rest
- These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about DeepCrew Cloud.
- If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we don't enforce a part of these terms straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- You can't transfer your account or these terms to someone else without our OK. If someone else takes over running DeepCrew, these terms may move to them, and we'll tell you by email.
